I remember years ago there was a solo project that had elements of black metal, acoustic, and dark ambient. The guy called himself something like "Lord Blackraven," but I don't remember the exact title. All the tracks had incredibly long and over-the-top gothic names, like "A Glass of Crimson Wine in the Castle Tower at Midnight," and the artist behind it wrote goth poems. He was definitely influenced by the romantic aura of Velvet Cacoon-related bands. He had 8 or so albums that were more or less all the same deal, and he worked hard at maintaining a kind of sensitive "vampire count" image on last.fm. Does anyone remember the name of this silly project?

EDIT: Solved. His name was Lord Blackrose. Does anyone know anything about him or have his music?

Do you maybe remember his nationality? If so, there is a chance I could help...my boy is from Russia and published quite a few albums between 90's and 00's, all of them with erotic artworks (but vampire-style)

I thought about Black Countess as well, but it doesn't really fit OP's description.

There is also a symphonic project from Greece but he doesn't play black metal and maybe has never done it...
