They also have a new lyric video out entitled, "Survival Evolved".



I gotta say I'm slightly underwhelmed by the song's leads. They just come off as kinda weak except for the solo at the end of the song. Josh's vocals don't sound quite as powerful and the production is way too slick. This might be in part to Ben's departure. That said, I don't think anyone can ever replace Ben Ellis' leadwork and the songwriting he brought to their sound. But the new guitarist Morgan Reid seems extremely competent and I'm sure their sound will stay true to what they've create the last two albums.

Thoughts? Any other fans on here?

I've become a huge fan of them since I discovered their first two albums last month. They've been on repeat since then for me.

Not too crazy about the new song, it didn't really grab me upon first listen. I'll wait to hear it in the context of the new album, the first two are stellar so I am hoping this new one is solid.

I think they do the whole melodic/technical death metal thing just about as good as anyone. I wasn't crazy about their debut, but Demons is phenomenal and I will be sure to check this one out.
