Found this band in my news feed and the artwork really caught my eye. HHR is releasing their debut in a couple days but the full thing is streaming at decibel magazine.
I honestly liked it a lot and it's a possible candidate for best death metal debut of the year. They play a well balanced mixture of grindcore (napalm death, carcass, insect warfare) and old school death metal in the veins of incantation (the recent caverncore trend) with nice variety on riffs, speed, atmosphere and vocals. Rite of Eibon is one hell of a track, one of the best DM songs I've heard recently. This definitely deserves some appreciation.
