Hi, guys. I'm sorry if this is considered in bad taste, but I wanted to share my recent interview with Cirith Ungol since I know they have a lot of fans. We had a great time and we talked about what they've been up to. I hope that you enjoy reading it. I'm not at all here to promote myself, but I think that Cirith Ungol is a band that deserves for as many of their fans to have a chance to hear from them. Thank you.

Actually, that was a good read! Thanks for sharing. Cirith is a classic, epic band. I'm stoked they are playing again, although I don't suppose I'll ever actually get a chance to see them, living in a "Secondary" market like I do.

Awesome, thanks for sharing.

Related, can anyone verify the lineup on the two CU demos on MA? I just fixed some errors in the lineup/years, but I don't have a source to confirm the credits/lineup for those two.

Where do you live? They have some US shows planned right now.

I can ask the band and update it when I have a chance.

Good interview. I ran into Robert and Tim a few weeks ago at an art show and they were super cool to chat with.

Was that the Michael Whelan art showcase?

Very cool interview. Put King of the Dead into stereos because of this. That riff in Atom Smasher, the lead-work in Master of the Pit.. Every metalhead should hear that album.

It's nice to see the guys in Cirith Ungol being in a much happier place than they were when Robert Garven contributed those reviews to the site, eh?

For me, "Finger of Scorn" is just too good. The album is fantastic. :)

That's a good one too. And don't forget the soloing in Death of the Sun.

I don't think that the album has a weak moment. Even the Bach composition seems totally appropriate.
