What Albums would you consider to have only good tracks? I'd say Sad Wings Of Destiny, quite possibly the best Metal Album ever, certainly qualifies, at least for me.

Stained Class is pure steel with no weakness
Epicus Doomicus Metallicus is probably the most end to end solid record ever.
Realms of Chaos by Bolt Thrower is a monolithic piece of oppressive heaviness.

Mid career Amon Amarth: Versus the World, Fate of Norns, With Oden on Our Side, and Twilight of the Thunder God. Not a filler song on the bunch. Never mind the bonus CDs.

All of Iron Maiden's early Bruce era, The Number of the Beast (though technically you could skip Gangland, but people like it) through Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.

Even some of the classic Maiden albums have some tracks that aren't as good or memorable as others. Though they are still great albums. I think "Number of the Beast" is the most consistent of the early Maiden albums, but the two DiAnno albums are pretty close. The others are let down to some degree by less stellar (but by no means "Bad") tracks.
"Kill em All," "Reign in Blood," "Peace Sells, but Who'se Buying" and even "Master of Puppets" all qualify in my book. "Ride the Lighting" just misses the cut, by virtue of one sub-par track.

I would include a couple other thrash albums: "Eternal Nightmare" (Vio-lence), "Darkness Descends" and "Terrible Certainty." I guess it helps the cause when the albums only have seven tracks on them, like those first two! The more tracks on the album, the more of a chance for one or two of them to be not quite up to scratch, right?

Whoever mentioned Candlemass, I would argue that the 2005 album is their best, but that's because I am the most familiar with it- and I like each and every single track on it. "Nightfall" is good but... I like the 2005 album better.

On the topic of KEA, I have to say that while I love some of the riffs, I just never really got into this as much as the other Cliff Metallica albums. My biggest issue is the guitars; they just sound too raw and sandpaper-y, like they scooped way too much out of the mids and perhaps put the gain a bit too high. It's a shame, cause otherwise this might be one for me.

Too many to count. That's one thing that I love about metal. Most bands put forth the effort into making complete albums rather than a couple of hits and a bunch of filler. I seriously would not know where to begin to answer this question.

All three Nagelfar albums are flawless in my opinion, especially Virus West. One of the most creative and all round incredible bands in all of metaldom period.

This. The album-oriented approach, which had drawn me to bands like Pink Floyd in my pre-metal days, was one of the traits that geared my interest towards the genre. Like countless others I started exploring the classics and found myself astonished at the quality these records maintained all the way through. More than a few obviously didn't click right away (particularly when I started moving deeper into the more extreme subgenres), but I never wondered why such albums were so highly regarded and recommended by my more knowledgeable peers.

This honestly describes most good albums these days. It's much more common to see an entirely bad album, than it is to see a few bad songs on an otherwise great one. I get the sense that the era of bands needing to churn and pad out albums just to hit record label obligations have mostly become a thing of the past, and they'd rather focus on quality over quantity of releases.

Obsequiae’s Aria of Vernal Tombs comes to mind. There are others but for now this is the best one I could think of.

Megadeth, Rust in Peace. I don't even really like any of their other albums that much otherwise, but based on that one alone they win the Big 4 competition.

Most Maiden albums have that one song that's slightly worse than the rest...Gangland, Back In The Village, Stranger in A Strange Land and The Prophecy.

Its like I was saying too, a lot of my favorite albums which I feel are the most consistently good, only have like seven or eight songs on them. Nowadays, I see a lot of bands that try to pad their album lengths by upping the number of tracks to 12, 13 or 15 songs, and most of the time I find that the band should have instead culled the weaker tracks from that album and released only the 8 or 9 best ones. The first three Metallica albums for example never had more than 8 songs on them (well "Kill em All" had the one bass instrumental sandwhiched onto "Whiplash" but that doenst really count.) "Darkness Descends" and "Eternal Nightmare"- only seven tracks apiece, each and every one of them essential.
