post bad, offensive, disturbing, wtf, boring cover art in here
ALL site wide rules apply but below are some pointers

Images that are NOT SAFE FOR WORK / NSFW need to be labelled and also have spoiler tags
We don't really need 'shock images' just because they are on an album cover: 2 girls 1 cup or tubgirl etc is what I mean
You can expect to be banned for a week or more if you ignore this, hence why it's in red.

  • Why are you posting it? a short description should be included.
  • The name of the band and or album
  • A link to the MA page or Wiki or wherever
  • Preferably metal...
  • Please make sure the image isn't wider than 1024 pixels or you will break the forum, if you can't resize it use spoiler tags

Wait so this is an atrocity but that fucking Schmier project's cover was cool? I'll never understand.

That cover of Holy is awesome. It makes me want to listen to it. That's the best possible result for a cover.

I like it too but only because they've got Abe Lincoln lifting up his skirt and showing you his knickers...

On second thought it's more like Lincoln crossed with Dr. Frankenfurter.

Yeah they were obviously thinking of the Warrant thing when they made that - similar fonts, designs, etc. Clearly intentional.

That's a very hideous cover indeed, but far from the worst. Some of the things posted in those many "worst covers" threads blow that out of the water.

That second cover, Holy is the opposite. That one looks really good.

It's not any "worse" than Solid or Rev-Raptor or Mastercutor or Steelhammer. All of U.D.O.'s covers are pretty goddamn goofy and soaked in cliches.

rap album covers generally own, and that album cover also owns somewhat(although the overtly digital image hurts it quite a lot). if it wasn't so shiny it'd look like an old speed metal or thrash cover

The best thing about it is the album title, not the cover. He's just Doin' Thangs. Not even big thangs, necessarily. Not baller thangs, gangster thangs, rapper thangs, bear thangs. How do we all feel about an 'official' bad artwork thread?
It seems every few months we get a new one...

I'll make it happen if we all like this idea, I'll include some older threads too so we have one mega-thread.
This will include: unoriginal, cliché, offensive, boring, weird, poorly done, unfinished, Photoshop overdrive etc

I actually like that Battleaxe one and I do not think it deserves its appearance in all those bad album cover threads.

Harley, hair, hellfire and leather! And a fuckin' battle axe. Crystal Logic-looking font to boot. It just screams trad/NWOBHM/speed metal.

I actually love this album cover and the artist (Halseycaust) but it's wonky as hell and it always trips me out:

His legs are sooooo tiny compared to the torso. It looks like a child someone dressed up in warrior garb.
