Well, the title says it all. I think it's a Norwegian band and I think one or more members were in jail for desecrating a grave and corpses. It's none of the famous bands, so forget about Mayhem etc. I remember I liked their music. Thanks; )

Person. As far as I can tell, it was just the one guy.

It was made by one ex-member of the band, because the guy left the band in 2001 and this happened two years later, there were more guys but I dont know if any guy of the band was involved or not.

Its a very black metal act, and very stupid as well :D, as I can see the band hasnt received so much attention on the archives, only one review....

It was the ex-member who was trying to impress a group of hip-hop friends.

The other members ridicule it in an interview, it was on a black metal documentary I forget the name of.

Ok, So what you are saying is that if someone cuts the head of your dead mother and takes it home is in no way worse than if that someone stole a wheel from your bike? You seem like a really nice person.

I didn't say all property damage is equal in severity. That's retarded. (also damage != theft)

I personally don't keep an emotional attachment to corpses and graves, but I can see why others would, so I do think it should be punishable. But I don't think the punishment should be significantly harsher than other forms of property damage, because beyond the material damage to the grave what you're essentially doing is hurting someone's feelings. It could be compared to stealing a family heirloom with much emotional damage vs stealing anything else.
