Probably the worst Japanese power metal band I've heard so far. Unlike Dragonlance, these guys can't even get the music right (sad because everyone in this band are veterans from other bands).

Out of curiosity, I bought their debut album. Even after auto-tuning and post-production, he still sounds like crap. And unfortunately I don't think there's a chance of him leaving. He and the guitarist are the only original members left (in fact, they're the only members left, PERIOD) so it makes me feel like this was a project created between the two of them.

Also, speaking of bad singing, here's that one time Gloryhammer was playing at Wacken, but Thomas Winkler was sick, and when he tried to sing Universe on Fire the result wasn't pretty...

I haven't watched the whole thing, rather skipping around to different songs and points in them, but everything about this has been a hilarious train wreck, and not in the usual goofy Abbath way. The performances of "One by One" and "All Shall Fall" are especially bad out of everything I've seen.

Haha, never gets old. Such an epic buildup, but as soon as the singer opens his mouth that one guy in the crowd looks to his buddy like "The fu-..."

The saddest part is that there are more videos of the song being sung by that goof than there are of it being sung by the real guy. At least it makes for entertaining comedy when I find one.

For me the saddest part was Portrait's handling of the whole situation. At the time, everyone thought he was the new official singer - because the band never bothered to say anything, and it really fucked up the momentum they built up from Crimen. I had just bought that CD a few months before and was still listening to it religiously, I was fucking obsessed with that thing and to learn that the incredible, weary and melancholy howling of Per was replaced by that imbecile fucking destroyed me .

Dude, Geoff Tate is playing my city in autumn. I almost want to go just to see how bad it could really be. The problem is, though, that the crowd will be thin enough that if I'm there for the funnies it'll be plainly apparent and maybe to the detriment of the 20+ people who actually want to hear Operation: Mindcrime murdered.

Actually, a Di'anno/Tate tour would be the saddest/most amusing thing.
