Captain Ahab wrote: HydroDrone wrote: Electric Wizard - Dopethrone. Still as awesome as ever. One of my all-time favourites, are E.W making any new releases? They put a single out last year. Supposed to have about 3-4 songs demoed for a new album. Guess the big news though is mark greening is back in the band. Considering how awesome his drumming is on dopethrone, i'm pretty chuffed to see him back, they never had a drummer that was even close to greening. |

Suffocation - Breeding the Spawn Its production took a little getting used to after hearing the pristine Pierced from Within, but this is still a headbanging delight of the highest order. Fucking awesome death metal. |

Satan - Trial by Fire Pure greatness! Thanks to Blind Guardian for showing me this song, and by proxy, this band. On a related note, I love that these guys got started early enough that they could choose a name as simple and direct as Satan. |

Deteriorate - Rotting in Hell Just discovered this apparently short-lived death metal band, and I fucking love the Rotting in Hell album. Now I just need to find a way to get the CD for a reasonable price. Hard copies are hard to come by and the ones I do find are really fucking expensive. |
