The sad thing is that new CDs in store around here cost about $30. Used from about $10-$25. :(

About Militia: All that a certain long-time record dealer had to say about this price (and $1800 or so for what Paradoxx on ebay) is that he had sold few copies by himself through the years and they all sold for a lot, lot more ... I never got the exact numbers, I've only heard a rumour for Paradoxx - 3500 EUR ($5000?) ...

That isn't t hat bad. Single coins can go for more than that. Some people are coin collectors and there are museum exhibits dedicated to them.

The most I ever paid for a single album was $50 for Glenn Danzig's Black Aria before it was rereleased a few years later (and eBay was still new and shiny). At least I can say that I own the more rare original releases of the album. Black Aria 2 was massively inferior.

The most expensive CD set I own, however, was purchased by an ex-girlfriend for me--the 3-disk Final Fantasy VI soundtrack. Aside from that, I think I've only spent more on massive box sets.

I was just watching some of pricekillers auctions that ended recently ... again some crazy prices I wouldn't have expected!! $90 for The Mist's Hangman Tree? I was never really searching for this CD, but none of the copies I've found anyhow were above 12-13 EURos ..

I wanted that one, but not for that kind of money ;)

Really very nice!

What's that Razor 2 on 1? I had never see it before, rare one?

And why do you have Twisted into form 5 times?

You can buy mine Detente pricekiller for 200 Euro's, if you want ;).

Hmm, there are two 2-1 Razors, first one is Armed and Dangerous / Executioner's Song on Reborn Classics, and the 2nd one is a split with Hobbs' Angel of Death on Teichiku w/ OBI from 1990, it contains Violent Restitution & HOAD. Yeah, it's rare, I paid $70 for it, and there was another one on ebay for some time with $130, but I can't find it anymore, I guess it's gone ..

Twisted into Form is my favorite album, and I'm trying to get all versions possible :) So far I got Combat USA, Combat Canada, CBS/Sony Japan with OBI, and two different Century Media pressings, one is signed by Craig, Matt & Russ ... oh, and I have a tape too :)

I will never be able to obtain that majestic album... :(

Seriously, that's way more expensive than what I thought. I expected it to be somewhere around $100.

A more well known grail piece - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=014 that usually goes for this price.

And a lesser known one - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=014

That seller always has nifty stuff going.

I was wondering the same thing. Having a rerelease or a bootleg is not as cool as owning an original.

Also, will you people learn to make fucking links already? It's really quite easy.
