Paradise Lost - Icon

Just arrived today. Been waiting for this one, but the shipping was held up by Amazon while they waited for a new Transformer to be sent with the order. Yes, a Transformer. Deluxe-sized Groove.

Dirty Rhymes and Psychotronic Beats is pure gold!

When The Bodies Fly is an awesome, awesome track imo. I would've bought it for that song alone.
And the cover is really hideous, can't look at it. When I bought it I thought I would turn the booklet so I wouldn't see the cover. But when I got it, it turned out that picture is EVERYWHERE in the cd. The front, the back, cd itself, front of the booklet, back of the booklet and even inside the booklet.
This release is drenched in humour. And most of the music is awesome too.

The original "Why Can the Bodies Fly?" is even better and ahead of its time vocal-wise. Unfortunately it appears neither of Warning's albums have ever been reissued--there aren't even CD versions. Drahdiwaberl (the band behind the songs that comprise the "Madcatmachopsychoromantik" medley) do have some CD releases, though releases of their discography are similarly not in abundance. As for the Pungent Stench EP, it's okay. Of the PS output, only the second and fourth albums stick with me (and they're masterpieces). Reminds me, I still need to pick up a copy of Been Caught Buttering on vinyl.

Not sure what your issue is with the cover art. It's supposed to be unsettling. Joel-Peter Witkin and Pungent Stench are soulmates.

Joel-Peter Witkin didn't do the Dirty Rhymes & Psychotronic Beats cover though.. fairly obvious really, it's about as far from his style as it's possible to get, very schlocky and cheap-looking. I'm guessing Jasper was a bit repulsed by the gigantic fat saggy tits.

Chaossphere's right. The cover art is motherfucking ugly, and that's why I think it's very humorous to put it everywhere.
I knew the Warning version. I think I like the Pungent Stench version a bit better but the original is cool too. Never listened to other Warning songs.

First album is as much of a masterpiece for me as the second. Love them both.

I'm a bit too stupid to know how to post pics on here, but I got some sweet stuff recently!

In an Excruciating Way... - Wormphlegm

So fucking good dude. It's one of the grossest and darkest records I've ever heard!

Death- Pierce Me - Silencer

We know it, we love it, finally got a copy of it.

In the Graveyard - Dead Moon

One of the best punk bands of all time, can't recommend them enough!

Rob Zombie: Hellbilly Deluxe - Got it cheap on Amazon, replacing the copy my ex-wife apparently stole. Was $3.
The Berzerker - Bought digitally. I used to have this, but don't know what happened to it.
Armored Saint - Win Hands Down. Bought the CD, came with a download of the music while I wait for the CD to arrive.
Holymarsh: Infliction ov the Morbid Intention - These are not easy to find. Ordered from Amazon. Most I paid for new music lately ($26).
Desultory: Through Aching Aeons - Preordered. Will not miss this one.
Amorphis: Greatist Hits - Digital version, because it was cheap.

Can't wait for Holymarsh and Desultory to get here.

Ascendia - The Lion and the Jester
Edguy - The Savage Poetry

My Edguy studio album collection is now complete! I just need Burning Down the Opera and the new collection to have everything.

Just got back from my town's most famous (metal) music store with this used gem. I saw it by "mistake" on discogs and I didn't noticed that it was from the local store until I was going to order it. I jumped over to the shop and I'm super happy!
