Avatar-Hail the apocalypse Only a few tracks into this one. I know it has more of a 'mainstream' feel, but I really liked their previous album. Hope I end up liking this one as much. |

Purchases from the Thrash Immortal fest: Soldier - Gas Powered Jesus Phobos Preacher - Humanos The Soldier album has a nice Pantera vibe, while the Phobos Preacher one is a decent thrash album but with the kind of vocals that one would expect in a death metal band instead. |

Especially that Blasphemy, hot damn. Wish I could get this album on CD myself. I bought a couple of things I didn't list last time, and here they are on CD: Profanatica - Live Profanatica - Sickened By Holy Host / The Grandmasters Session, This is really god damn good. Highly recommended. A lot of Ledney's side on the first half of Sickened By Holy Host is sickly filthy doom-y and atmospheric as fuck. A lot of slow doomy passages with a dark filthy atmosphere dripping everywhere. Amazing. |

Numerator_41 wrote: Who put this out? And is the speed true to the original record, or is it the fucked up version from the older CD reissue? It was released by Metal Race Records, and the remastering was done from the original DAT tapes, so there's no vinyl pops and the speed is left alone (it's the original speed, that is). It sounds great! |
