Nice! I picked up a copy of this vinyl from Scott last month and had him sign it. He had 40 copies that sold out in less than 24 hours! I was really glad to be able to buy a copy from him since this was the album that introduced me to Xasthur when it came out in 2004.

This was accumulated over several weeks, not in one single haul, so I don't have pics of it all together.

However, I do appreciate the time and effort some posters here put into arranging their hauls for pictures.

Enabler - All Hail the Void

Hope to see these guys at MDF. Catchy, metallic hardcore/grind/whatever with a couple doomy parts for some variation. I think I'll be spinning this for a while. Highly recommended.

Behemoth - The Satanist

I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this, but I'm glad I did. This may rank as one of my favorite albums in their catalogue... probably the most diverse album in their career. I hope this one wins over some of their detractors. If you're at all interested in Behemoth, pick up this album.

Kreator - Endless Pain

Glad to finally own a copy of this essential (imo) thrash classic. Can't go wrong with early Kreator. Total Death!

Finally got my copy of the Bölzer EP in the mail today, it only took over a month to get here from Germany. So is the disc suppose to be covered in gold flakes/spots? I'm guessing yes but I just wanted to make sure...

I'd say most definitely yes given the rest of the artwork.
Feel free to add some scans etc to the Discogs page too if you have the time :nods:

Yeah I was planning on doing it sooner or later. Hopefully it'll be sooner, I just have to get off my lazy ass and do it that's all.

The angle and lighting make that look way worse (even more 3 dimensional) than it is; I had to grab mine to compare. Yeah, that's normal, though.

My only recent buys are:

Behemoth - The Satanist
Keldian - Heaven's Gate
The Kennedy Veil - Trinity of Falsehood
Metallica - Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning, first time I've actually owned these, somehow; I used to just borrow my friends' copies.

Waiting on a small Dark Descent order, wish I'd known when I ordered that a catastrophic ice storm is about to level my state. Thank god I selected "priority mail," I'm hoping the CDs arrive before Blashyrkh does.

I got this a few days ago and I don't think anyone here has posted photos. The long awaited Demilich vinyl...
Spoiler: show

The front cover

Sticker, poster, gatefold 2LP cover, original Nespithe cover, and forty-something page "'zine" with lyrics, interviews, promos, etc.

gatefold opened up, zine opened up, and the back of the box

I got the "slime green" colour

This thing wasn't cheap but I must say that I'm very satisfied. Having all the Demilich tracks plus three new ones is awesome and the zine thing is a great read for any fan.

Seeing all that extra cool shit and Nespithe in its own sleeve with the original artwork is one of the reasons I kinda wish I had taken up purchasing vinyls instead of CDs sometimes. Seems like vinyls reissues are more frequent and they get some nice things with them as well.

so does the cd version of Adversary not contain the original Nespithe artwork at all, or what? Because that would be a major bummer...

The 'new' artwork is ok, it reminds me of a certain Grave album... [same artist perhaps] the original artwork is legendary.

The digipak itself has the new artwork (obviously), but Nespithe and the demo artwork appear on the packaging behind the trays for their respective CDs.

EDIT: I think this picture will help better than my crummy description:

Mine arrived yesterday...I can't stop listening. I'd heard almost everything before, but only shitty MP3's. the remastering brings everything out front without sacrificing all the thick, dark moodiness. This band was special. Enjoy!

I had that 2nd re-release of the album that had the demo tracks. I went on and got this cause I love Demilich and the remastering actually is an improvement which is shocking to me usually remasters suck out all the life of a recording. Plus have to get those 3 new (old) songs.

I would love to know what you think of this one once you've had a little time to spin it. I've always been curious about Falcon. I'm a huge fan of the first Cirith Ungol album which was mostly written by Lindstrom.

I had the some one and I still bought it as well after listening to the remastered music they put up on YT. Fucking glad I did though because the Xtreem reissue is nowhere near the sound quality on the Svart one. Just listen to the same demo on both reissues and your jaw will drop to the floor. ;)

Yeah the double digipak is pretty awesome, and while the original cover is only behind the tray it's still perfectly visible. The whole thing is beautiful, and the backside is a three panel image that extends itself from the front cover, so in the end it's also pretty rad. You also have the original artwork for the demos inside the (massive) booklet, which is an awesome read. There's a massive interview there with Anti that is just wild! I don't ever remember laughing so much with a metal interview before, the guy is just too much, he.

I have to say that the vinyl editions look even better though. Really good looking!

The Omega Order is now carrying that Demilich, btw. Vinyl, anyway, with the CD on order. My CD version is coming from Dark Descent but I can no longer find it in their web store. That was quick.

Well you could be someone like dreadmeat who will buy stuff only to trade off. So it's actually not much of being a smartass question than an actual question if you plan on reselling some of that.

Holy fucking shit man, you have more? And three copies of Ophidian Wheel??? (insert a multitude of random curse words)...

I get that you want one jewel case and one digipak, but what's with the other copy?
