Interesting you pointed that out. I actually started out pronouncing it the second way when I first heard of them, but was told on a couple occasions that the first way you wrote is actually correct... Anyone care to shed some light on this?

Also, there is a black metal band called 'Furze' which is unintentionally funny cuz 'Furze' means 'Farts' in german. You can imagine how ridiculous it seems to listen to some grim cold kvlt shit which is called farts...

I swear I remember reading about a nu metal band with a similar name in one of my old guitar magazines when nu-metal was all the rage.

Aborted Christ Childe,I hate all those over the top satanic names and I think this one takes the cake because they include intentional misspelling. Also Acid Enema or any of the other dumb ass over the top death/black metal band names I wont even bother checking them out which is a shame cause I'm sure I'm missing something good.

Because in Russian language too many differences from other european languages, there are many funny things in band names for russian speaking listeners. For example: MORDA - morda in russian means face of angry, homeless or dumbass people NAHUI - nahui means fuck off)) GRABAK - it souns almost like Grobak, grob means coffin GORGOROTH - sounds almost like ogorod, in russia it means place near house where your parents grow vegetables, that's why in russian internet a lot of demotivator where you can see Pest of Infernus with tools to cultivate the ground)) LOCH VOSTOK - very strange name, because loch means loser and vostok means East. Thnx you for attention, this was a short lesson of russian language)

Calm Hatchery - Great modern DM band out of Poland, but for the life of me I have no idea what the name is supposed to represent. Their music is far from calm. I like these guys but I constantly think clam hatchery. Btw Krisiun is an awesome band name. It refers to the Crisiun Sea or Crisiun Mare on the moon. The deepest and darkest crater on the moon. It is visible from earth with the naked eye as a dark spot. It definitely has a killer meaning when taken into context; a dark abyss. Fits Krisiun's music quite well.

If considered somewhat 'metal', the worst names belong to the metalcore/deathcore group. There's a local band called Sex Tragedy, that just fucking sucks haha.

I think some of these are pretty bad: Wykked Wytch (hate bands with bad spelling on purpose) Mudvayne (think it just sounds stupid) Breaking Benjamin (seriously???) Gloomy Grim (just sounds so childish and cliche) Old Man's Child (just sounds so stupid to me) These are all I can think of at the moment.
