Zoser Mez was a studio side project of Mercyful Fate/King Diamond musicians Hank Shermann and Michael Denner.

When Zoser Mez was recording demos for the second album, King Diamond heard some of these demos and the style was very much Mercyful Fate and so he, Shermann and Denner agreed to reunite, taking with them then-drummer Morten Nielsen.
