They took their name from the song 'Wolf Moon (Including Zoanthropic Paranoia)' by Type O Negative. At the beginning of their career, they were called Aquelar and played Melodic Death Metal. Later in their career, after a few lineup changes, they altered their sound to Death/Grind and changed their name to what it is, currently.
