Formed by guitarist Tsutomu Toya, keyboardist Osamu Harada, and bassist Tsutomu Onda in 1991 after checking local musician ads in magazines and at guitar shops. Singer Takao Ozaki joined Zenith in 1992, having been a regular at their shows. His predecessor had more of a commercial, non-metal voice (similar to Drew Baca of Canadian band Angelica).
