Formed in July 1991 in Kutno, featuring guitarist/lead vocalist Mała and drummer Jacek "Venom" Szczepański. Szczepański suggested the band name, which according to Nightmare's vocalist Tomasz Lemański, it meant to be a nickname of a magus.
