Like many older doom bands, Winter got a cult following after they split-up (1992).

After Winter's demise, Stephen Flam formed a band called Thorn, featuring Roy Mayorga (Crisis, Amebix, Soulfly, Medication) on drums.

Reunited in 2010 for Roadburn Festival 2011.

The band had to cancel all shows planned for Europe in winter ...
