Versailles (France) was the town in which the king used to reside in the 17th and 18th centuries.

For U.S. audiences, the band is calling itself the "Versailles-Philharmonic Quintet."

Sherow Artist Society is Kamijo's label.

After going on hiatus December 20th, 2012, the instrumentalists formed a new band called Jupiter in 2013. The vocalist Kamijo started a solo project.
