The Chasm was formed in late 1992 when vocalist/guitarist Daniel Corchado left his previous band (Cenotaph) to pursue his own musical vision. Originated in Mexico, but relocated to Chicago after the recording of Deathcult for Eternity: The Triumph in March 1997.
