In the fall of 2000 vocalist/bassist Johan Norström along with guitarists Michael Bergvall and Stefan Vidmark (Nightscape) founded Terrortory. Together with the former drummer a couple of songs were written and the band found a musical alignment to work with. It turned out the old drummer rather wanted to play pop/rock, so he left the band.
