The band's name is taken from the Darkthrone song "The Pagan Winter".

Reunited in 2014 for "one-time appearance" at Housecore Horror Film Festival (October 23-26 in Emo's in Austin, Texas, USA). For legal reasons, the band performed under the abbreviated name Superjoint. Shortly after, they scheduled another show at Hellfest in France to take place in 2015.
