Steel Prophet was founded by Steve Kachinsky (g) and Gary Stocking (v) in Middleton, Connecticut in 1983. Harry Blackwell (d) came on board after borrowing a drum kit from his friend John Tarascio, who would ironically replace him after only a brief time.
