The band initially played a combination of Oi! and hardcore punk with metal influences before transitioning towards a crossover thrash sound on the album Combat: Battle and Burn. Squadron briefly experimented with grunge and acoustic rock akin to Alice in Chains on the album Suppression of Faith. Age of Conspiracy saw the band fully shift to a sound combining groove, death and thrash metal.
