Founded by Murnau and GodofHellfire in 2003 when they met returning from Wacken, the band initially consisted only of the two of them who eventually recorded their debut, Rust of Morality, in the end of the same year. In 2004 Souls in Apocalypse were turned into a full band; after several line-up changes, the band was put on hold in 2005 and resumed by the two founding members five years later.
