Soilent Green had gained attention locally for being one of the first Heavy Metal bands in Germany to use their native language. Though more of a "live band," they released several infamous video clips while active. The band broke up in the early 1990s.

Not to be confused with Soylent Green from Tellingstedt, Schleswig-Holstein.
