The band was actually named after the hard rock band of the same name from Detroit, Michigan, who released two albums in the early 70s. The name was suggested by Randy Rhoads who was the brother of their then-vocalist, Kelle Rhoads.
The cop appearing on the debut album's cover art is known as Knutson.
