Sarx was founded in 1998. In 2000, after two years of practicing, songwriting, and many live appearances, their first CD "...Of Natural Rage" was recorded and released. The record got some very good reviews, and sold out quickly. In August 2000 guitar player Christian Sonneborn died in a motorcycle accident.
