The band's name refers to bubonic plague, or the Black Death: one of the worst disasters ever to befall Europe, eliminating myriad people during the 1340s.
Peste Noire was supposed to release an album entitled Les Salisseurs de Lumière around 2005/2006 through Drakkar Productions, but Famine was not satisfied with the production ...
