Opacus was primarily Thorn's solo project until mid - late 2005 with a small input from Mort. As time progressed Hagalaz was taken on board for bass duties to enable Opacus to play live and record as a full band. Unholy Darkness and Through the Clear Is Thy Despair was all written and recorded by Thorn with the exception of Mort creating a couple of guitar parts.
