Originally a solo project of Mikko Lehto.
The band's early released music was mostly acoustic and ambient, with themes of nature. They changed their style to atmospheric black metal on The Streams of the End, and according to Lehto's interviews, the very first promo in 2001 was mostly metal, heavily influenced by Opeth and Katatonia.
