Formed in March of 1996. After Rhiannon Wisniewski replaced James in April of 1997 the band changed the spelling of their name to Noktuary, to avoid confusion with the another Noctuary from California. They later became briefly inactive in early 1998, and reformed as Black Trinity later that same year.
