Nican Tlaca Is an expression from classic nahuatl language that can be translated as "People from here" or "Our people". This expression is frequently used by chicano community and indigenist groups as a label for themselves along North and Central America, but most of chronists, Nahua people and modern native speakers refers it as a gramatically correct but meaningless term
