The Nibelungen is the German name of the Niflung, a pre-historical Germanic family whose feats are recorded in various Medieval Sagas and Poems such as the German Nibelungenlied, the Icelandic Þiðreks Saga av Bern or the Eddic poem Atlakviða.

Previously known as Warlord and released a demo in 1998 with that name.
