Skuggeriket was the second Mortify Demo. The first demo was recorded in June 1994 and contained 5 tracks but was never officially released due to bad sound quality. A third demo called Tordenstorm was supposed to be recorded in 1995 but due to some disagreements between the members the band split up before the recordings could happen.
