Loits was initially the solo project of Lembetu until it became a band in 1999.
They call their style 'militant flak 'n' roll'. Lembetu stated in a 2004 interview to Lords of Metal that they own the birth of this slogan to Mart Kalvet, who figured that instead of 'black metal' they could use 'flak' (anti-aircraft gun) to better illustrate the band's identity. Soon ...
