Lavina were formed in Copenhagen by Michael Denner, after he quit Mercyful Fate. Two former Mercyful Fate musicians joined the fold: Timi Hansen, and Hank Sherman (who had just left Fate). The band produced a 3-song demo in order to get a record deal, and later evolved into Zoser Mez. The song "Wasteland", which has been first released on the Lavina demo tapes, later also appeared on the Zoser ...
