After Taylor had left the band, Ignite folded. After a few months, Garland revived the band with Lake as a new guitarist.

The band's name was changed to Draxsen to avoid a conflict of interest with a US hardcore group also called Ignite. However, Draxsen did not exist for any prolonged period of time.
