Highlord formed in 1996 under the moniker Avatar. The band recorded a demo tape and was signed by Underground Symphony, but due to line-up problems the band wasn't able to record the album. Some time passed and the band made a new agreement with Northwind Records. Vascè joined the band and the debut album Heir of Power was finally recorded and released in ...
