According to the Prose Edda and some Skaldic poetry, the Fenrisúlfr (Old Icelandic for "Fenrir-Wolf") is a gigantic wolf who will wreak havoc during Raganrök. He is also said to be a spawn of Loki and the one who severed Týr's hand. He may or may not be identical to other mythological wolves such as Garmr,Mánagarmr, Sköll and Hati.
