The band was formed as Rebellion around 1981/82. They changed their name to Equinox (inspired by Sodom) sometime around 1986/87. They split up in 1995.

Also released a song called "Vinter" (Winter) on a Christmas compilation album called "Når Nettene Blir Lange" on Sonet, 1991.
