The birth of the band essentially stems from the ending of Ryan's previous band Emaciated Entrails, with the ''final'' Emaciated Entrails lineup being christened as ''Dislimb''. The band split in March, '04; Lesniak and Connors immediately went on to form All Hope Is Dead. The band reformed in August of 2005 but has since (permanently?) disbanded.
