The band was accepted into the Metal Archives based on On Through the Night.
David Fricke of Rolling Stone magazine wrote Animal Instinct: The Def Leppard Story, based on the band members' accounts of their history, published on Zomba Books. It came out around the same time as the Hysteria album and is mentioned in its credits.
