Death Aura was born the 3rd of March 2007, and recorded and written its first demo "Winds of Mortal Hope".

According to an interview, Death Aura begun life as "Celestial" and its seeds are from late 2004, based on Tomb of...'s first demo "...the Rotting Break". Though the two projects changed throughout time, apparently Tomb of... always remained a sister project of Death Aura.
