Formed by Sylvie Lacroix and Dan "DC" Christopherson, who met when they played in the band The Jetzenz. After they realized that their priorities and goals where similar, they broke off from The Jetzenz to form D.C Lacroix.

They relocated from Seattle to Los Angeles in 1985.

Their song "Devil's Son" is featured in the 1988 film Hack-o-Lantern (also known as Halloween Night).
