Known mainly for their early oi/punk days (their song "Oi! Oi! Oi!" is often credited with naming the subgenre). Their sound went increasingly hard rock/NWOBHM-oriented in the early 1980's and while subsequent albums varied in their heaviness and were mainly hard/punk rock, the 1990 full-length Lethal can be considered a traditional heavy metal record.
