Formed after Rikard Sundén, Oskar Montelius, Daniel Mullback and Daniel Mÿhr left Sabaton in early 2012.
Petrus Granar joined in 2014 to give Civil War a seven-piece, triple guitar line-up. The next year though, Montelius and Stefan Eriksson both left, and the band decided to continue with only five members and no permanent bassist.
