The band's original name, GVA stood for Gabe, Vince, Augustine. Under that moniker a 5-song instrumental demo was released on CD and digitally, titled "Searching for a Vocalist" (track listing: Swing Star/ Groovie Do Me/ Mean Fucker/ Black Exercise/ Seven Heavies; runtime 18:12).
