The band started in 1982 as Steeltower with bassist Manni Jordan, singer Thomas Rettke, guitarists Ingo Millek & Bernd Kaufholz and drummer Thorsten Müller, releasing a sole album in 1984.

The name changed to Carrion in 1987, now without Kaufholz and with Bonny Bilski as the new guitarist. ...
